Panda days in SL ^_^. This cute Panda Tiny av was only 50ls and I'm in love with it already. RL has been a bit stressful recently so SL is more of an escape these days. I find I don't get all the slex hassle ims if I'm a tiny panda and the tiny lands are fun to explore and all based in fantasy. The tree top shopping mall is my favourite this week. I just need some tiny furniture for my room.Saturday, 11 October 2008

A SL home is still a home surely?
Just recently I started to look for a home in SL and found a lovely sim where people came together for friendship and a sense of community. I met a few resisdents and loved the landscaping around the homes. I collected some freebie furniture and moved in. A few nights later I signed on and saw a green dot inside the blue area that showed my home. Thinking that was very weird I flew over and found a male newbiew avatar sitting on my couch. The front door was still locked and I later found out he'd used the sit here option of the couch to get inside. I asked him politely to leave as I had no invited him to my home and didn't even know him. He refused saying it was a game and he could go anywhere he liked. I asked him if he'd behave that way to a rl house and he laughed at me and finally left.
Am I being over sensitive to be angry at that? I behave in SL as I would in a RL place. I don't enter places I'm not invited too, if I knock into someone I say sorry. I spoke to my neighbour and he said that guy was either a newbie and didn't know better or was a greifer.

~Introduction~
My second life began on the 30th of January 2008. I'd seen a Tv documentary and signed up to see what it was all about. My first few days were spent on orientation island feeling terribly lost and like I wouldn't ever be able to do anything. After a few weeks I had a new skin, an inventory full of clothes and landmarks for favourite places to hang out.
The thing I most like about SL is the people. It's the people you meet that make it truely wonderful.
